Founded in 1934, Cory 1st Choice Home Delivery began with one truck and the dream of one man – Joseph Cory. While the nation floundered amidst the Great Depression, Joe transformed the common task of a retail delivery into an uncommon experience through consistent service powered by integrity, purpose, passion and a focus on consistent performance. He intuitively knew that the sale did not end in the store. Joe understood that the home delivery was the last impression upon which customer loyalty and recurring business would be built.
Over our 80 years, Cory has completed millions of sales for many of the top 100 furniture, appliance and electronics retailers. Today, Cory covers 35 states as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We execute over 1.9 million home deliveries annually, manage nine (9) cross docks and warehouses and safely handle over $2.5 billion worth of product while creating long-term relationships between our clients and their customers.

We understand that today’s retail customer demands a custom experience. Through the combination of retail technology and new, continuous routing optimization, we envision customers selecting a delivery at the place, time and cost of their choosing. Our goal is to build more efficient routes with emphasis on the service experience rather than transport. Additionally, as we reduce overall miles traveled per stop, we will reduce our carbon footprint, thus minimizing the impact on the environment.
