Core Medical & Wellness is a physician-led medical practice specializing in non-surgical orthopedics, spine and sports medicine, and interventional pain management. Led by Richard Kang, MD, and Jag Desai, MD, the practice has served the Lyndhurst community for 18 years, including the past decade at its Stuyvesant Avenue location.
Our care begins with a conversation about each patient's symptoms, medical history and goals. Whether someone is managing persistent pain, recovering from an injury or experiencing changes in mobility, we help explain available options and develop a plan suited to their needs. Our physicians emphasize patient education and shared decisions, with individualized treatment directed toward improving comfort, function and participation in daily life.
Through Core Spine & Joint Center, our Lyndhurst practice offers coordinated conservative care, including chiropractic care, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, spinal decompression, laser and shockwave therapy. Chiropractic physicians work alongside our medical team, with physician evaluation and interventional pain management available when appropriate. Patients who require procedures also have access to care through our affiliated ambulatory surgery center.
