About us

Family Promise is the only organization in Bergen County dedicated to empowering working families who become homeless by providing temporary housing and personalized support, including job training, financial literacy, life skills, transportation, childcare and enrichment for children. Family Promise also addresses hunger through the nightly Walk-In Dinner, which since 1991 has served over 1.1 million meals to people in need.

  • Please join us on June 3 for the 25th Annual Family Promise Golf Outing at Edgewood Country Club! Guests will enjoy an afternoon featuring 18 holes of golf, a silent auction, a Hole in One and skills contests, refreshments served on the course, and more. A cocktail reception, dinner, and program will follow. All proceeds from the outing will benefit our programs for working families with children facing homelessness and those experiencing food insecurity in our community.
